HOME / HIGH COTTON

High Cotton is an apartment located above Ground Zero Blues Club in Clarksdale, MS. The building was originally a cotton warehouse, and the apartments above have been named according to cotton grade. Myrna had great fun designing this space, collaborating once again with Francine Luckett. Myrna and Francine gave the space a funky retro feel to reflect the area downstairs. This is a prime example of “design on a dime”, using furniture from local thrift stores and antique stores for the main pieces.

Ground Zero Blues Club features performances by both local and national blues bands, and has been featured by CNN, Turner South, The Food Network, The Travel Channel, The Discovery Channel, National Geographic Traveler, Southern Living, USA Today and Food and Wine.
